The third Labrador Retriever National Championship show was held in Adelaide, South Australia on the 1st. and 2nd. May, 2004 with International Judge, Ms. Anja Verbeek (Farbourne Labradors) of the Netherlands officiating at her first show in Australia.
Blackboy Kennels took seven dogs on the long trek of 2748 kilometres across
the desert with every one being "on the mat".
After taking Best in Show at the second National in Melbourne in 2002,
Aust. Grand Ch. Blackboy Cream Crakka thrilled his owners and supporters by taking out "back to back" Nationals with his second National Best In Show.
Ms Verbeek in her critique of Crakka said: "Quality yellow boy with a beautiful head, nice top line, good angulation in front and rear, excellent mover, real showman."
